Our iwhub (centralised helpdesk) is an integral part of our thriving ‘Responsive Maintenance’ arm at Ian Williams. We seek new members to join its growing team as Planner/Schedulers based in Aston Birmingham.You will have a real impact working as a Planner/Scheduler by providing excellent customer service internally and externally whilst optimising the delivery of our repairs service through effective scheduling. You will enjoy the dynamics of working within a vibrant, fast paced and sometimes pressurised environment, working to SLAs and KPIs effectively managing the diaries of our inhouse trade operatives.Effective planning is the heartbeat of our response maintenance divisions’ performance and as such we require someone who relishes being such an important part of our organisation.Benefits:

We offer our iwhub employees a modern, spacious, and open plan office with easy public transport access (train & buses) and onsite parking for drivers. The office also offers a fully equipped kitchen with facilities, comfortable and private break out areas, as well as a designated prayer room for worship.The Planner/Scheduler role

  • Access to our dynamic scheduling system and technology, you can effectively plan operatives’ day to day work schedules, taking pride in delivering a first-class experience to our customers (residents) in a concise, timely and efficient manner. We’ll give you ownership of this process from start to finish, considering priority, location, and time, whilst mitigating risks that could affect KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
  • Acting as the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll support our trade operatives, via phone and email, while they successfully complete their works on site, always striving for a first-time fix resolution. Due to the nature of response/ maintenance works, this is high volume and reactive, therefore you’ll thrive in a fast paced environment, leaning on your team members when pressure moments arise
  • You will input up to date and accurate notes for each job/task on the system, to support compliance and process
  • You will produce KPI (Key Performance Indicators) reports daily, that contribute to the overall Contract performance.

What will you bring as a Planner/Scheduler?

  • If you have planning and scheduling experience fantastic, BUT we also welcome and encourage anyone with high level customer service-based experience, ideally via the telephone, and astute problem-solving skills to apply too. If you have the right willingness, drive, and commitment to learn how to book appointments, rearrange appointments and schedule engineer diaries, then we want to hear from you today!
  • Most importantly, you will have worked and enjoy working within a fast-paced and reactive environment. This is a responsive role that will suit individuals who enjoy a busy, dynamic, and ever-changing day
  • Strong IT (Information Technology) and analytical skills with the aptitude to pick up new systems and be able to follow process and procedure is a real must
