Enjoy a high standard of living with low housing costs and short commutes when you live and work as a *Plastic Surgeon – Locum* in Saskatchewan, the sunniest province in Canada.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a team-oriented and highly skilled Plastic Surgeon to provide locum on call coverage in Regina, Saskatchewan. Coverage could be arranged as weekend or full week coverage depending on the locum’s availability. This position has the potential to transition into a permanent full-time role.Remuneration is competitive for this locum and is based on a daily rate of $2,900.00 plus the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program on call stipend. Saskatchewan Health Authority will cover the cost of flights, car rental and temporary accommodations as well as provincial licensing.Operating Room (OR), procedural and outpatient clinic time (eg. ambulatory care) would be available depending on patient and surgeon needs. OR access for urgent or emergent clinical conditions would be available per our after-hours OR usage rules. The program is complimented with a high-quality Anesthesiology program and a day surgery unit which has extended hours for patient recovery.The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate experience and training in Plastic Surgery, appropriate for an academic tertiary care level referral centre. The candidate will be expected to show evidence of interpersonal and collaborative skills with initiatives to further advance the clinical and academic productivity of the SHA.The (SHA) is the largest organization in Saskatchewan, employing over 44,000 employees and physicians responsible for the delivery of high quality and timely health care for the entire province.
