Your role involves close collaboration with R&D and various segments to co-create PLM and CAD templates that fuel our digital thread. You’ll also engineer future business processes, aimed at standardizing practices across multiple teams. From the Digital Transformation Solutions (DTS) perspective, you’ll oversee several technical implementations, ensuring the quality delivery of product and order design capabilities. By working closely with global PLM leads and R&D experts, you’ll manage key stakeholder relationships and provide program oversight to expedite PLM deployments within our division. Your efforts will ensure seamless integration with other transformation programs and ERP initiatives.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Drive the delivery of design engineering solutions across Siemens Electrical Products North America. You will champion the replacement of legacy systems, fostering innovation and standardization.
  • Ensure the quality implementation & maintenance of CAD, PLM, and CAE solutions and integrations.
  • Apply best practices in program management for PLM deployment, overseeing aspects such as budget, scope, change management, and team leadership.
  • Manage strategic partnerships with both internal and external design partners/integrators, including oversight of contracting and deliverable signoffs. Responsibilities include data migration, system configuration, PLM landscape upgrades, project management, system interfaces, and data workflows.
  • Lead stakeholder communication, providing critical updates and ensuring alignment.
  • Develop a comprehensive multi-year roadmap to drive ongoing improvement and strategic alignment.
  • Ensure Compliance and Security: Support efforts to ensure that digital systems and data handling practices meet relevant regulations, policies, and security standards. This includes assisting with audits, risk assessments, and implementing security measures.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent years of professional experience.
  • 5 plus years of experience in managing large-scale programs across various functional areas (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing).
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred) and MCAD & ECAD solutions, driving innovation and efficiency in R&D processes.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Ability and willingness to travel.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • The pay range for this position is $97,500 – $167,200. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
