Check our Careers Site at .This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.As a Point of Care Education and Implementation Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Providing training to new customers on Critical Care products in Acute-Care settings (primarily Emergency Department, ICU, OR, Lab).
  • Providing implementation, post-go live and continued education support
  • Supporting POC Solutions Specialist in preparing Product and POC solutions overview presentations and technical product demos
  • Supporting POC Solutions Specialist in forecasting with estimated go-live dates
  • Acquiring and sustaining high level of product knowledge, technical knowledge, competitive knowledge, healthcare market knowledge and develop high degree of personal efficiency
  • Being highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Collaborating with the entire Siemens Healthineers team including Technical Applications, Field Service, Business Management, Contracts, Finance and Legal
  • Managing clinical and technical questions from customer with the ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve product issues in a timely manner by efficiently navigating the internal network of collaborating departments within Siemens Healthineers.

  • Very knowledgeable of hospitals and testing procedures.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree with a Health Sciences specialization.
  • Excellent negotiation and risk management capabilities.
  • Experience working within a hospital/POC setting with a clinical/technical background –specifically Emergency Department Nurse, POC coordinator, ED Physician, Cardiologist or MLT.
  • Deep understanding of hospital hierarchy including key decisions makers and approval pathways to implement new testing technology.
  • High level of presentation and communication skills including the ability to present technical topics
  • Experience teaching and facilitating education sessions
  • Experience with IT (working with a data manager/middleware) considered assets
  • Previous experience with a large implementation project will be considered a strong asset
