An exciting Policy delivery advisor opportunity has come up with one of our UK Government agency clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on the design and delivery of the Operating Model for import controls for animal products

CONTRACT DETAILS

• Job Title: Policy Delivery Advisor
• Day Rate: £300 – £375 per day
• Location: Hybrid (flexible)
• Duration: Initial 6 months+

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work flexibly to deliver a range of design and operability solutions
• To work with colleagues across the Programme and across Government with the FSA, Cabinet Office and DAs to ensure the delivery of individual elements of the process are aligned and consider the end to end customer journey, as well as ensuring any operability risks are identified, understood and escalated where appropriate
• To update process maps and other operability documents to ensure issues are identified and recorded
• To contribute when required to the drafting of submissions to governance boards and/or senior leaders to gain feedback on proposed mitigation options for operability issues
• SME input on commodity codes and risk categories into the risk engine and risk services project

WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong Project Delivery experience
• Strong experience delivering policy projects/programmes
• Experience of working with a diverse group of stakeholders, and of managing their expectations
• Experience of operability assessments, and of ensuring guidance to external stakeholders allowing them to take the necessary steps to ensure project outcomes are delivered.
