Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As the Portfolio Management Assistant, PH&N Investment Counsel, you will primarily be responsible for writing Investment Policy Statements and drafting client correspondence. You will also be involved in preparing presentations for the Portfolio Manager. In addition, you will be responsible for reviewing asset mix and researching tax and financial planning issues for the Client. For more information, please visit:What will you do?Identify, investigate, and resolve all client inquiries, administrative errors, etc. and ensure trades are processed accurately and on a timely basisManage all aspects of account opening and documentation and maintain records and files and attend client meetings as required.Proactively assist with client management of appointments and scheduled meetings / calls.By providing excellence in customer service, you will respond to all client inquiries, update client files as required and prepare client presentation materialYou will also be required to prepare meeting material in advance and attend client meetings as requiredResponsible for drafting correspondence, updating Investment Management Agreements and assisting in the preparation of Investment Policy LettersAssist with securities trading as required, and ensure daily reconciliation of trades are processedAssist with Business Development activities by: developing and managing marketing lists, helping with new account presentations, and preparing new prospect proposalsPrepare the Investment Policy Statements, and model, monitor and rebalance the portfolios.Ensure that compliance to client mandate and portfolio models are metAssist the Portfolio Manager and the team with any additional ad hoc administrative duties as needed.What do you need to succeed?Must HaveUniversity DegreeCompletion of either CIM or PFP or CFA Level 1Experience in TradingMinimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar roleAdvanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point )Attention to detail, excellent oral and written skills, and technologically savvyNice to HaveSuccessful completion of CSCWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
