Job Title: PPA TeacherLocation: South Liverpool, UKAre you a dedicated and adaptable educator seeking a rewarding part-time role in a dynamic primary school environment? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a PPA Teacher to join our team at a primary school in South Liverpool.As a PPA Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education by providing cover for teachers’ planning, preparation, and assessment time. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues across different year groups, contributing to the continuity and progression of students’ learning.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various year groups and subjects, following the school’s curriculum and schemes of work.
- Provide cover for teachers’ PPA time, ensuring that learning objectives are met and students’ progress is maintained.
- Establish positive and inclusive learning environments that foster student engagement, participation, and achievement.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of attainment and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate lessons, ensuring consistency and coherence in students’ learning experiences.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities as required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to teach across different year groups and subjects.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Commitment to collaboration, teamwork, and contributing positively to the school community.
- Knowledge of the primary curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
