Do you have a passion for facilitation and strive to be part of a team which creates a workforce delivering excellent clinical care as well as valuing colleagues and supporting their career progression?Main duties of the jobWe are pleased to offer a development opportunity within the Professional Development Support team where your main focus will be delivering and evaluating a new enhanced preceptorship programme for Locala.This opportunity has arisen following a successful bid to NHS England for RePAIR programme monies (Reducing Pre-registration Attrition and Improving Retention). Locala are using these monies to fund this 0.5 WTE fixed term post/secondment to enhance the current preceptorship programme to enrich our support for preceptees and preceptors across the organisation.The role will also offer the opportunity to work alongside our existing PDS Educators and support provision and delivery of clinical education and development activities for our clinical workforce (nurses, allied health professionals, visiting students and learners) across a range of practice settings.The successful candidate will require strong effective communication and interpersonal skills, experience of leadership and a drive for innovation and improvement.In return we can offer a supportive team structure and a commitment to your own professional development, for example enhancing your skills in facilitating training (using a range of formats and in a variety of settings (including face to face and online).About usWelcome to Locala Health and Wellbeing – proud to provide NHS community healthcare services across Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford.
