Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Lead/coordinate reviews of Investment Advisors(IA), Investment Councillors (IC)), Estate Planning Specialists(EPS) & Branch Directors(BD) business processes and functional infrastructures (in the branch, remotely and in the classroom) resulting in the re-design/improvement of their business and business process. The outcome is to improve quality segmentation & service, productivity improved efficiency, elimination of non-value elements, profitability revenue and asset growth via identification of digitalization opportunities and working effectively with the Advisors and Councillors, their team members and Branch Directors.What will you do?Organize identified review segments – project scoping, defining boundaries of examination, resource requirements, critical pathing and undertaking of preliminary analysis….Determines statistical data requirements for reviewing processes/functions and ensures the effective execution of analysis to deliver productivity/quality improvements significantly impacting bottom line and future resultsReview and analyze the current process(es) and determines value-add of each step/activity and cost-effectiveness to the advisor and/team.Identifies process improvement/re-engineering opportunities – through streamlining, simplification, elimination of redundancies/overlaps, improved capacity utilization, automation, outsourcing, standardization.Develops tools and management processes to assist the IA’s, IC’s, EPS & BD’s to implement improvement opportunities and to manage their business on-going.Makes recommendations for implementation – identifying accountabilities, cross-functional dependencies and roadblocks, and appropriate measurements and controls.Summarize work performed into a report formatDevelops and documents 3-year Business plans and activity plans to ensure implementation of changes / opportunities prioritizedWhat do you need to succeed?Must haves:Proven people & development skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment,Demonstrated facilitation and leadership skillsSuperior verbal and written communication skills.Strong listening and interview skills and the ability to work in a non-traditional environment.Strong innovative, problem-solving and analytical skills;A self-starter capable of functioning in an autonomous manner.Considerable knowledge of small to medium size business structures and operations or Investment Advisor’s business structures and operations.Knowledge of process and continuous improvement concepts and techniques.Extensive Travel required.Nice-to-have:Previous experience in a variety of middle to senior management positions in Financial Services or Management ConsultingCSC & CPHEnglish and FrenchWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
