Siemens Smart Infrastructures (SI) and Digital Industries (DI) is looking for a Pricing Analyst (Deal Desk Analyst) to join our Strategic Pricing Organization.

The Fast-Paced Deal Desk Pricing Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity for driven individuals to make an immediate impact on the organization’s success. Operating in a dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with sales teams and stakeholders to expedite deal approvals while ensuring pricing strategies align with company objectives.

You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Rapidly assess special pricing requests from sales teams, considering factors such as deal size, customer value, and competitive positioning.
  • Engage with finance, legal, and product teams to ensure pricing compliance, risk mitigation, and adherence to company policies.
  • Continuously refine deal desk processes and workflows to streamline pricing approvals and shorten deal cycles.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in pricing analysis and decision-making tasks.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements, automation, and team development. Be an instrumental change agent in creating a world-class pricing organization with focus on commercial excellence.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 2+ years of experience in deal desk, pricing analysis, or sales operations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly interpret data, perform financial calculations, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment and prioritize competing demands effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Adaptable and flexible to change. Positively responds to changes in direction, unexpected circumstances, and ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Solid process mindset with ability to drive to solutions.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment.

  • The pay range for this position is $58,500 – $100,400. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
