The primary responsibility of this role is the execution of pricing strategies within the Global & National Agreement team that will optimize profit, drive sales growth, and increase Siemens market share, while at the same time, improving pricing accuracy across Siemens Industry, Inc. This position will act across Siemens Operating Companies (SI & DI) with regards to pricing & commercial related topics.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis of pricing requests for global and national customers
  • Communicate, implement, and maintain contract pricing.
  • Source customer data from data warehouse tables.
  • Data analysis via MS Excel and MS Access
  • Extract information from multiple sources (Tableau, SAP, PMD, Industry Mall, SiePrice, etc.) for root cause analysis.
  • Provide pricing and contract information to internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with IT to research, test, and resolve Euro related topics.
  • Assist in the development of new pricing and sales related tools and process improvements.
  • Work with Siemens Germany on special pricing requests (Offer Assist and AGT)
  • Provide ideas and suggestions for program enhancements.
  • Implementation of full range of complementary tasks and marketing projects
  • Train new and existing employee’s/ stakeholders on pricing software and best practice
  • Build training documentation and self-help guides by gathering good examples.
  • Partner with Channel Marketing to ensure proper communication and adherence to distributor guidelines, use of pricing vehicles and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer profitability and opportunity win/loss.
  • Present pricing recommendations to sales organization, product management and finance as needed.
  • Maintain contact with sales and product managers to determine pricing trends in the marketplace.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in business, finance, economics, or related field.
  • 2 plus years of experience in process improvement, pricing, sales, or marketing of Construction / Industrial products.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Access database knowledge.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Advanced Degree.
  • Strong analytical and qualitative skills with ability to analyze, filter, and organize data to present different scenarios and recommendations.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize information from various internal and external sources to support research, development, and execution of projects on time.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo and facilitating change in the organization.
  • Adaptable and flexible to change. Positively responds to changes in direction, unexpected circumstances, and ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex topics in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Solid process mindset with ability to drive to solutions.
  • Knowledge of sales process, channels to market, and competition.
  • Self-starter with solid organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong teamwork and teambuilding skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and flexible environment.
