They are looking for a specialist teacher to support a small group of children to achieve to the best of their potential. You will be working with LSA support.Job Description:

• Desire to work with a small class of KS1 children in a small provision within the school
• Working to support children’s English, Maths, Foundational Subjects and Social Skills
• Familiar with working with children who have complex needs- ASC – ADHD all with IEPS and EHCPs
• Experience working with PECS, Visual timetables, TEACCH and Makaton desirable
• Full time role
• Location: Close to central Portsmouth
• Start Date: September 2024
• Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent

Individual Profile:

• QTS certificate
• Completed ECT induction years
• Experience of working with children with additional needs
• Passionate, enthusiastic and resilient individual
• Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
• First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
