Job descriptionAre you an ECT who has not yet secured a teaching position for September? Don’t worry, Prospero Teaching would like to recruit a confident primary teacher for supply cover in primary schools in Burnley. This role could start as soon as you finish your course in June and will involve some day to day cover, short-term and long-term placements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ECT to have regular teaching work and the excellent learning experience of seeing many different types and settings of primary schools.You will need to have strong subject knowledge as you will be teaching across different year groups. You will need to be an energetic teacher who is able to interpret planning, and confidently deliver lessons across all curriculum areas. You will need to be able to manage behaviour at various ages appropriately and effectively.Never considered supply teaching before? It’s a great way to showcase your teaching skills in different schools, and hopefully secure a permanent job in the process! Your dedicated consultant will look after you every step of the registration process.Essential requirements:
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Professional references covering the last two full years
- Experience working in a UK Primary School
