What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing guidance on best practice and strategy, recommending the appropriate methodology and tooling for the business and technical challenges and promoting highly collaborative levels of engagement within your squad.
  • Implementing the appropriate engineering practices and tooling for infrastructure, hosting, CI/CD and testing.
  • Building distributed systems using the latest technologies, with a focus on scalability and cost efficiency.

What experience you’ll bring:

  • Proven record working as a DevOps Engineer working on complex deliveries.
  • A wealth of experience planning, building and leading large-scale transformations, implementing DevOps pipelines, working to build, test and deploy into cloud native environments.
  • Deep understanding and experience in the latest tools and technologies such as: AWS, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git/Gitlab and a deep understanding of software languages and an appreciation of Microservices patterns and SOA
  • Experience of coaching and training teams in optimising software engineering and end to end delivery.
  • Have a customer-centric attitude, with extensive experience working in a client-facing environment.
