As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for fostering the growth of our GIS business, overseeing complex projects and providing expert technical services. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our GIS service while working with a talented and dedicated team.As a solutions-focussed specialist, you will support the wider team, acting as a role model and providing guidance and management. You will represent Thomson externally, building relationships with prospective and existing clients, and will be responsible for the financial performance of your team.If you are a proactive, experienced GIS professional with leadership skills and a passion for developing relationships, we would love to hear from you.Salary up to £47,000 – £50,000 per annum.This role requires a combination of high skill and technical expertise alongside leadership and work-winning acumen.Key requirements include:

  • Experience in winning new work, gaining new clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • The ability to oversee large and complex projects involving technically complex work whilst providing high quality deliverables for clients within allocated time and budget constraints for yourself and your team.
  • Experience in leading a team, demonstrably being a role model and inspiring confidence.
  • The ability to manage and deliver a team budget.
