We are looking for an existing Principal Lecturer to join the Learning and Teaching Hub on a permanent basis from February 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant team, leading on cross-institutional initiatives and working with colleagues from across the University to enhance the education and student experience.
The role is wide-ranging, and includes:
- working as a Learning and Teaching partner with a specific School, liaising with School leadership to identify and provide appropriate CPD to support the implementation of institutional policies and priorities and to support the enhancement of courses
- designing and facilitating staff development workshops across all of our provision
- contributing to the PG Certificate in Academic Practice and supporting colleagues to gain HEA Fellowship via the Professional Recognition and Development Scheme
- contributing to our curriculum design programme, Co:Lab, which supports course teams preparing for validation and periodic review.
As a Principal Lecturer, you will also lead the implementation of some key aspects of LTHub activity and will support and oversee the work of other LTHub colleagues as appropriate.
