The position is a full-time, hourly position. This position includes labour and possibly operating machinery (lift trucks, fork lift, hoists, and baggers). Ensure production activities are conducted in a safe manner while creating quality product in a timely fashion.Duties and Responsibilities

  • General Plant Cleaning
  • Shoveling, vacuuming/sweeping
  • Loading bulk flour
  • Computer operations
  • Taking samples
  • Assisting the Miller at any time needed
  • All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Willing to work overtime, shiftwork and weekends, when needed
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude
  • Exceptional communication with mill, lab, elevator, warehouse and sanitation is a requirement

Education or Work Experience

  • High school education or equivalent

Additional Information

  • Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
  • Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Exhibit regular and prompt attendance
  • Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and heights, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
  • All candidates must have authorization and the ability to maintain authorization to legally work in Canada.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
