Your Team

You will join our Finance team, where we:

  • Provide the relevant, accurate, and timely financial information to support business planning and strategic decision-making, and enable other business functions to operate effectively.
  • Source and acquire the goods and services Oxbotica requires to fulfil its business objectives efficiently and cost-effectively, while also delivering effective asset management.

Your Role

As a member of our Procurement team, your main responsibility will be to organise and maintain goods and stock while keeping accurate records. Attention to detail is crucial, and you must be able to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy. Each day in our Procurement team brings new challenges, but it also provides an opportunity to make a significant impact by supporting our teams creating autonomous solutions for our customers.

  • Receiving goods in at TCX, maintaining accurate records, running reports and supporting the related administrative processes and the prototype builds, while following established policies and procedures.
  • Moving items between our Oxfordshire sites (UHQ, TCX, Culham).
  • Organising and tracking returns and keeping our stock system up to date and doing monthly stock checks
  • Leading a stock review reorganisation process and supporting the implementation of a new stock system
  • Assisting with placing and tracking orders and with shipping and customs clearance procedures

Please note this role is offered as a 12 month fixed term contract.

Requirements:

What you need to succeed:

  • Procurement and stock control experience
  • Experience of international shipping and knowledge of customs rules and procedures
  • Experience or understanding of the intake-to-procure process
  • Proficient in Excel and databases
  • Numeracy and an interest in tech products
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Change-positive attitude
  • An understanding of a scale-up environment and ideally of a manufacturing environment
  • Full UK Driving License is required
