I am currently assisting one of my clients, a specialist in construction, located in Montreal, near a metro station. This company is seeking a Procurement Coordinator.Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for estimation and procurement projects.
- Draft, modify, and follow up on contracts, purchase orders, and related documents.
- Organize and archive all departmental files while maintaining accurate records of activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to track tenders, bids, and contract management.
- Facilitate interdepartmental communication by ensuring compliance with purchasing and contract management policies.
- Actively contribute to processes related to tenders.
- Participate in the analysis of bids and the contract award process.
- Translate documents and perform quantity calculations as needed.
Ideal Profile:
- Technical or college diploma in construction or estimation (preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good judgment, autonomy, and proactivity.
- A team player with excellent collaboration skills.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.).
- Knowledge of Procore is an advantage, as is proficiency in accounting or estimation software.
- Bilingual in French and English, both written and spoken, as suppliers may be international.
