Join Our Team as a Product Design Teacher!
Location: Halstead
Salary: £150- £250 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract Type: Full-time

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Product Design Teacher at our Secondary schools in Halstead.

The Role: As a Product Design Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to explore the principles and practices of product design. From sketching and prototyping to materials science and manufacturing processes, you will guide students through the entire design process, helping them develop practical skills and unleash their creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering dynamic and interactive lessons in product design.
  • Providing constructive feedback and support to students on their projects.
  • Developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to integrate design concepts into cross-curricular activities.
  • Organizing and overseeing extracurricular activities and design competitions.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience teaching product design at the secondary level.
  • Strong knowledge of design software and technology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
