Kforce has a client in Topeka, KS that is seeking a Product Manager. In this role, the Product Manager (PM) is the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring data-driven products and solutions meet organizational goals. They combine data expertise, strategic vision, and cross-functional leadership to deliver products that harness the power of data to solve problems and unlock new opportunities. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and articulate a clear vision for data products
- Align the product strategy with broader business objectives to help enable data-driven decisions
- 8+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager in a data centric environment
- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, impactful data solutions
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa
- Hands-on experience collaborating with product owners, data engineers, and data scientists
- Experience managing Agile development processes and product backlogs
- Track record of defining and tracking success metrics, such as KPIs and OKRs, for data products
- High level of business acumen with practical understanding of how data can solve business problems and create value
- Strong interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Able to quantify the impact of data products on organizational objectives
- Able to clearly articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Possesses a working knowledge of data infrastructure and familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data lakes, and cloud platforms
- Able to read a relational database model
- Understanding of APIs
- Proficient in data governance tools and software
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI principles and how they can be applied to products is nice to have
- Detail-oriented and analytical

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
