You will lead the strategy for the Coffee and Accessory portfolios and lead all aspects of the development of yearly marketing plans and build impactful and exciting 360 campaigns in collaboration with various teams. You will play a key role in defining future portfolio opportunities by identifying new growth avenues and establishing new partnerships. Additionally, you will play a key role in influencing and aligning both internal and external collaborators while owning the Coffee and Accessory team.
As the ideal candidate, you are a problem solver who develops creative plans through innovative ways and creative thinking. You will also demonstrate strong leadership and collaboration skills, fostering a team environment that encourages creativity and collective success!A day in the life of a Product Manager:Product Category Management:
- Define strategic orientations for both coffee & accessory portfolios.
- Support the Category Manager in defining the Coffee & Accessory Roadmap.
- Collaborate with external partners and collaborators to lead local product development for accessories.
- Lead the forecasting of product launches, ensuring forecast accuracy.
- Conduct in depth consumer & market analysis to identify strong and actionable insights
360 Amplification Campaigns
- Drive strategic framework of global campaigns and support the Product Specialist in coordinating the 360 local launch.
- Own the development of local campaigns from idea generation to market execution with the potential for rollout to other markets
- Collaborate with the Product Specialist to define needs & execution pillars, including local content’s shooting & storytelling for local coffee campaigns
- Initiate and lead strategic local partnerships in the development of the Accessory portfolio.
- Ensure go-to-market activities are implemented in a timely manner and maintain omni-channel alignment on all marketing activities.
- Establish measurement criteria and important metrics to assess outcomes and steer strategic directions
Budget management
- Define annual budget
- Ensure budget accuracy & monthly follow-up
People management
- People management of 2 strong collaborators
- Mentor and develop a strong team to deliver superior performance and results
Role Requirements
- Innovative thinking to address business challenges and incorporate creative approaches into marketing strategies.
- Bilingualism in English and French is required for this position. The role involves frequent and complex collaboration with collaborators across the Canadian market and/or internationally. These interactions necessitate a high level of proficiency in English to effectively perform the tasks associated with the job.
- 7+ years experience in both marketing strategy, product strategies & management, in premium or luxury consumer goods
- Strong mastery of product development & management.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills (influence, mentoring & collaboration)
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of the Food & Beverage market
- Strong critical thinking and execution skills
- Adaptability & ability to adjust strategies based on market conditions in a fast paced environment
- Trend spotting and foresight to develop forward-thinking campaigns and market specific innovations
