Minerex Environmental Ltd. part of RSK Group is an independent, Irish owned consultancy providing environmental services in the hydrogeological and environmental disciplines.We are now hiring for a Production Engineer on a permanent full time basis to join the Minerex Team, bringing new innovations to the Minerex team with a strong ambition and desire to learn from experienced engineers in the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop in your career with an agreed career plan, objectives, training, coaching and responsibilities.This is an exciting role working with an experienced lead engineer and engineering team.This is an exciting time to join a growing and innovating team in Dublin, also working in collaboration with RSK Ireland and with an exciting new office location in Dublin opening in Autumn of 2024.Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovation – Collaboration in the design, testing and production of products and devices aiming at solving challenges on sites. Modelling components in Solidworks to an acceptable level of fidelity.
  • Electrical Standards – Familiarity with electrical standards is highly desirable e.g. I.S. 10101 in particular
  • Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting – Build new approved equipment – Repairing and cleaning equipment that comes back from site. Calibrating and cleaning sensors used on site. Assist site team with troubleshooting equipment remotely or on sites.
  • Site Work – Work will be 90% in the office and yard and 10% on site Installation of electrical telemetry equipment on site. Working with the dewatering team to install telemetry systems. Onsite troubleshooting and repairs to telemetry equipment.
  • Equipment Tracking and Material Logging

Updating Excel sheets with the location of equipment, status and condition * Ordering – Purchasing Approved equipment from approved suppliers to maintain stock and allow for new build and repairsPerson Specification:

  • Degree in a Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing subject – (level 7-8)
  • Experience with solidworks and knowledge of basic AC and DC electrical circuits is highly desirable.
  • SOLAS Safe pass card and Manual Handling Certificate are both desirable – training will be provided
  • Ability to work with tools, hand tools such as wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, saws, gas burners and power tools.
  • Practical and hands on approach to handling materials and equipment and problem solving using resources to hand
  • Comfortable working on construction sites and following company procedures, working along and with a team.
  • Organised and systematic approach to work
  • Good inter-personal skills and demonstrate the right attitude, care and thoroughness to problem solving.
  • Full clean driving license is desirable
