Production Manager (Food Manufacturing)Are you a successful, hands-on Production Manager within Food Production? Would you say you have an inspiring personality? Do you have a natural ability to build, develop and lead teams?Working with one of Ireland’s premier brands within the Food Manufacturing Sector our client, is recognised for excellence; with a state-of-the-art factory, they are embarking on a new phase of transformation in order to achieve their ambitious vision.The successful Production Manager, you will ensure the production planning meets existing and future business demands and ensure activities remain on time and within budget.Your day to day as the successful Production Manager

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time sensitive and demanding environment, including Performance Development Plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
• Pro-actively manage health and safety of the production floor.
• Lead and drive standards of quality, food safety, hygiene, and housekeeping through Good Manufacturing Practices and BRC.
• Manage the training and development of production team.
• Lead operations continuous improvement projects, through sponsorship and mentoring to achieve desired outcome.
• Introduce KPI’s to drive performance.
• Support company values to ensure a positive culture that fosters good employee relationships.
• Develop skills matrix across production areas.

Your essential ingredients

• Proven success in production management role within Food Manufacturing
• Understanding of Retailer and BRC Food Manufacturing requirements and has led teams to achieve Grade A or above.
• Firsthand knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
• Strong IT Skills, including database development.
• Experience in financial budgetary processes.
• Team player who values collaboration.
