In this role, you will play a crucial part while contributing to an efficient workflow.Job DescriptionResponsible for supervising the daily functions of the AR (Anti-Reflective) Department including meeting production goals, hiring and developing staff, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for associates.Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):Split shift between Shift A (Sun-Tues) & Shift B (Wed-Fri) 4 PM-4:30 AM· Manages Jobs per Hour in the AR room.· Ensures older jobs are being processed in a timely manner.· Resolves breakage issues to keep breakages low.· Processes daily reports for the Production Manager on JPH, breakage, etc.· Trains lead associates on ANSI standards and rejects spotting.· Orders supplies and chemicals for the AR Department.· Review associates’ performance through HR’s Performance Management system.· Assists Production Manager with interviewing and selecting associates for AR department.· Oversees and participates in associate training.· Works with other department supervisors to resolve interdepartmental issues.· Schedules all work and vacation time for AR department.· Creates and maintains performance records for AR associates.· Updates and implements department Policies and Procedures; enforces all Company Policies and Procedures.Physical Job Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.· Requires continuous walking, standing, and moving about or continuous sitting depending on the production station.· Continuous movement and twisting of the wrist.· Frequently lifts, carries, or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing 0-10 lbs.· Frequent bending and twisting of the neck and occasional bending at the waist.· Repetitive movement of hands and fingers, which includes grasping and fine manipulation.· Gloves must be worn during work periods.· Protective eyewear must be worn in all manufacturing and stockroom areas.Qualifications· Requires 3 to 5 years of experience on related work or lesser jobs either within or outside the organization.· No specific education level required.· Must be able to read and write English.· Beginner to Intermediate knowledge in MS Office including word and excel.· Sustained light (20lbs or less) physical effort required.· Previous supervisory experience preferred.· General methods or policies are defined and some standard procedures are available.
