We are seeking a Science Manufacturing or Pharmacy Technician Higher Level to join a rapidly expanding team, developing and growing the workforce in the Pharmacy Manufacturing Unit. You will be working closely with the Workforce Lead to deliver high quality training in compliance with regulatory requirements and external training providers.In PMU we are committed to delivering the highest quality of training in order to support our staff to develop and grow within the workplace so that they can reach their full potential and achieve their goals.We are currently based at Moor House and operate under an MHRA specials licence providing high quality pharmaceutical IV medicines to our patients.All candidates must have either a Level 3 Science Manufacturing Qualification or an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent and be registered or eligible to register with the GPhC or the Science Council. Aseptic experience is desirable but not essential.We would be interested to hear from enthusiastic and motivated candidates who have a passion for developing and growing the workforce and have a commitment to support the NHS.Interviews will be held on 30th September 2024Main duties of the jobThe successful applicant will be responsible for all aspects of Education & Training and will provide structure and support for learners on Level 2 and Level 3 Pharmacy qualifications. The post holder will also be responsible for the delivery of the in-house training programme and completing relevant documentation. You will assist the workforce team and liaise with external providers to ensure the optimal learning experience and outcome for learners.You will also be involved with elements of the day to day running of a busy unit, including accuracy checking of medicines.This is an exciting time to join this organisation as our growing service means there will be many opportunities for development and progression within our department.The post is a full-time post of 37.5 hours per week, to be worked flexibly over a 4-day working week (Monday – Friday) but the post holder must work until 7pm as part of some of the shifts.
