EH5063-24-442We are seeking to recruit a full-time Professional Placements Administrator to join our vital placements team within the School of Education, Sport and Health Sciences.This is a busy and highly responsible role working within a supportive and well-established team. Your role has responsibility for organising and monitoring the placement of students with external placement providers. This will involve assessing the suitability of placements and match students to placements appropriately. You will have extensive contact with students and staff at a variety of levels within the University, and external placement provider contacts, providing practical advice and up to date placement data.To be successful, you should have:
- The skills to be able to build networks and maintain positive working relationships.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good customer service experience, which will include excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work quickly and accurately.
- Good IT skills, including full working knowledge of MS Office.
Experience of working with large databases and software platforms would be beneficial, and an understanding of University processes would also be a benefit, but by no means essential.This role is full-time (37.0 hours per week), however we welcome applications from candidates seeking to job share.
