Company Description·Job DescriptionOxfam America, Inc. seeks Program Advisor, Private Sector Dept in Boston, MA:Oxfam-America’s Private Sector Department (“PSD”) develops and implements effective humanitarian and social support programs by focusing on finance, systems, knowledge management, program, and project coordination in the Private Sector Department at Oxfam-America. Duties include: Take a lead role in preparing departmental financial reports for internal management; help develop, maintain, and manage departmental budget to reflect plans of the Management Team; work with Oxfam’s UBW-based budget tool, and lead in the annual budget forecasting and planning processes; Manage the restricted fund management life cycle from proposal stage through reporting on actual use of funds; coordinate PSD’s and Food Systems grant budgeting and monitor restricted grants; Manage the department initiatives and subgrants through the grant life cycle; Manage development and implementation of agency-wide corporate relationship management (CRM) system, working with Shared Services and Oxfam International; Conduct ethical screens on companies for unfunded opportunities (public association); Work with leadership team to plan and execute regular planning, learning, and evaluation activities for the department. Co-lead and facilitate on quarterly reporting and assessment of PSD’s progress against annual operating plans; and, Coordinate PSD’s internship program including recruitment, training, and oversight of non-legal interns.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Public Health, Public Administration, or a closely related field & 3 years of experience in a non-profit organizational setting. Employee may work from home within commuting distance from worksite, in accordance with employer policies.Experience must include the following, which may be gained concurrently: * 3 years of experience in budgeting, financial management and analysis.

  • 3 years of experience in grant management (pre and post award) and contracts in an international NGO setting.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing Salesforce and Smartsheet for Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and knowledge management purposes.
  • 3 years of experience navigating donor-specific requirements and donor reporting.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing Excel, Unit4, Oracle BI and Microsoft Power BI for financial tracking, reporting and analysis.
  • 3 years of experience utilizing CRM software HubSpot to reach/connect with stakeholders and allies.
  • 2 years of experience using Microsoft Publisher to create visually rich and professional publications.
