Candidates with NGO or Foundation program management experience may be appropriate, provided the NGO is large in scale and scope of work is/was broad. Must be comfortable in a large organization that operates at a very fast pace.Additional notes: This role will report on site in New Jersey, 4x per week.Scope of role: Contractor, Program ManagerPosition Summary
• Responsible for program management of two CSR programs, Solve for Tomorrow Teacher Academy (SFT TA), and Innovation Campus (SIC). Responsible for supporting larger team with Solve for Tomorrow activation, including management of the Solve for Tomorrow alumni program.Main tasks include:
• Creation and oversight of program plan and ensuring flawless project execution
• Management of partner relationships (contracts, invoices, milestone calls, etc.)
• Event management for in-person/ virtual program events
• Research to support program objectives, including competitive audits
• Manage all aspects of the TA and SIC programs, executing all work streams (outreach, event planning and coordination, website, partnership management, mentorship and alumni programs, etc.)
• Project management:
o Create and maintain project plan for each phase of the program plan, defined milestones and associated tasks, and timeline
o Ensure all program tasks are completed on-time and aligned with the objective; alert direct managers of any at-risk open items
• Administrative tasks:
o Create and submit process docs (PUMIs, POs, invoices)
o Route documents as required for approval (SOWs, contracts)
o Create and maintain supporting documentation to ensure program is tracking against budget; work directly with finance coordinators
o Work closely with the Legal and Finance teams to ensure on-time execution of related deliverables
• Provide recommendations for and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with internal communications team to amplify the program
• Collaborate with external PR and social media teams to amplify the program
• Create post-event and other summary reports that will gauge the success of TA and SIC programs and inform future decision making
• Manage communications with current program participants as appropriate
• Work cross functionally to share updates with the larger team on the program and discover further areas of collaboration with the overall department portfolio
• Ad hoc tasks as requestedBackground /Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of directly related experience required
• Degree in business, marketing, public administration or public policy preferred
• Ability to clearly communicate with multiple levels of the organization required
• Proficient in MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Prior experience with project management/coordination required
• Prior experience with program management preferred
• Prior experience with budget maintenance preferredNecessary Skills /Attributes
