This role will report into our Electrical Apparatus segment and will be pivotal in developing and executing our strategy for products such as skidded solutions and e-houses. Modularized product scope will include switchboards, automatic transfer switches, uninterruptible power supplies, panelboards and transformers. The program manager will work collaboratively across internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure successful strategy development and deployment/ramp-up of our modular solutions in the datacenter market. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational background and a proven track record of program development/execution driving positive business results.You will make impact with the following responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Business Plan Development: Own and drive the development of the modularization strategy for low voltage electrical equipment, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market demands. Develop associated business plan.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with various teams, including engineering, operations, supplier quality, finance, project management, and logistics, to facilitate the execution of the modularization strategy.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and partners/suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the program.
  • Execution / Ramp-up: Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of modularization program ramp-up, ensuring obligations to customers are met and internal business metrics are achieved.
  • Customer Engagement: Work closely with direct customers to understand their needs and identify solutions that deliver value. Negotiate terms of capacity/supply, delivery timing and pricing and facilitate contract execution where appropriate.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program continuity and success.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, challenges, and opportunities, showcasing executive presence and strategic thinking.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering management or business.
  • 10+ years of experience in professional work environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in the electrical products industry with demonstrated skills and results in managing projects and/or programs.
  • Highly motivated and possess exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making aptitude, with the ability to analyze financial data and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Executive presence and the ability to engage with senior leadership and external partners confidently.
  • Proficiency with MS-Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (less than 25%).
  • Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, engineering, or, engineering management.
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, product management or business development, preferably in the electrical equipment or datacenter industry.
  • Proven experience in modularization strategies, project management, and cross-functional team leadership.
  • Experience and success in managing customer relationships.
  • Experience identifying, qualifying and developing long-term relationships with external partners/suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of low voltage electrical equipment, including switchboards, ATS, UPS, and transformers.

  • The pay range for this position is $104,400 – $179,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
