The Faculty of Health plays an active part in addressing today’s most challenging healthcare and psychological issues, through research-informed teaching and active, real-world learning. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this progressive Faculty, where you really can make a difference.A position is available for a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Administrator to provide administrative and placement support within an extremely busy team.Under the direction of the Senior Programme Administrator and as a member of the team, you will contribute to the provision of a customer focused, integrated delivery of cost effective and efficient programme and practice placement administrative support service.Each individual contributes to the administration and placement support of designated programmes and seeks to enhance the student experience throughout their time with the University of Plymouth.The tasks will include direct contact with students, placement providers and staff responding to their queries. This will include maintaining student records, allocation of student placements and related activity, attending and providing the minutes for meetings, updating programme documents, providing programme data as required, provide support to the Senior Programme Administrator in addition to providing support across the team. You will have a flexible attitude in an ever changing environment, good organisation skills, IT and keyboard skills, the ability to identify and seek resolutions to problems, and able to work within tight deadlines. Good communication skills, team work and minute taking are essential. Experience of work in a programme administration related environment is preferred.The post will be located in the Rolle Building situated on the University’s main campus within the city centre.
