Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-cycle accounting on a project-by-project basis
  • Oversight of budgets and validation of construction loan draw requests
  • Prepare monthly bank and loan reconciliations
  • Prepare financial statements and ensure adherence to accounting standards for multiple project entities
  • Prepare and analyze working papers related to project entities
  • Ensure timely and relevant financial information for effective decision-making
  • Continuously monitor project financing needs, partner contributions/distributions, and all aspects of cash flow management
  • Update and review Calgary land development proformas to align with the current team vision
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to understand projects thoroughly and identify potential risk factors affecting budgets or cash flows

Requirements:

  • Possession of a Professional Accounting Designation and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills and a strong working knowledge of AX 2012
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preferred experience in the Real Estate industry
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
