Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform full-cycle accounting on a project-by-project basis
- Oversight of budgets and validation of construction loan draw requests
- Prepare monthly bank and loan reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and ensure adherence to accounting standards for multiple project entities
- Prepare and analyze working papers related to project entities
- Ensure timely and relevant financial information for effective decision-making
- Continuously monitor project financing needs, partner contributions/distributions, and all aspects of cash flow management
- Update and review Calgary land development proformas to align with the current team vision
- Collaborate closely with project teams to understand projects thoroughly and identify potential risk factors affecting budgets or cash flows
Requirements:
- Possession of a Professional Accounting Designation and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills and a strong working knowledge of AX 2012
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Preferred experience in the Real Estate industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
