The Project Assistant for the Tulane School of Social Work (TSSW) acts as a partner in elevating the efficacy and quality of our social work graduate programs. This position identifies areas for improvement in enrollment management, equity, diversity, and inclusion, and student experience. This position suggests strategies to attract prospective students, enhance student success from pre-admission to graduation, and ensure continuous program improvement through assessments and feedback mechanisms.This position is a part-time temporary position for a recently graduated student from TSSW.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Exceptional organizational, managerial, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Exercise discretion with respect to matters of significance.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the MSW program.
  • Working knowledge of standard computer software such as office suite, email, etc. and ability to learn and utilize new software.
  • Ability to work evening and weekends during special events, as needed.

Required Education and/or Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work.

OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master of Social Work from a CSWE accredited institution.
  • 2 years of related experience in social work practice and/or higher education administration.
