Responsibilities:Portfolio Engagement
- Build strong, positive, and dynamic relationships with portfolio leadership, technology leads, and other key team members within charities, non-profits, NGOs, and other mission-driven ventures. Cultivate a thorough understanding of each venture’s industry, sector, regional context, and unique operational environment.
- Gain and maintain expertise in the technology and talent support offerings available within the foundation’s portfolio, ensuring efficient deployment of these resources to support non-profit and NGO partners as needed.
- Coordinate and facilitate communications with portfolio organizations to manage key milestone check-ins and scope new engagement opportunities.
- Act as a strategic connector, matching portfolio ventures with the most suitable support resources to deliver maximum value for the charity, non-profit, or NGO.
- Document recommendations and outcomes through partnership success plans to streamline the deployment of our in-kind support offerings.
Operational Success
- Drive a portfolio-centric approach by systematically updating and managing key partnership resources across internal systems (e.g., .PPTs, CRMs, Excel files, Airtable) to meet the needs of non-profit and NGO partners.
- Gather and document feedback from completed engagements to assess the effectiveness and impact of technology and talent support for charities, non-profits, and NGOs.
- Share insights and emerging trends with the foundation team and broader community to support impact measurement, communications, storytelling, award nominations, and other value-creating activities that highlight the work of charitable organizations and NGOs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience supporting entrepreneurs, social impact innovators, charities, non-profits, NGOs, or similar ventures.
- Passion and prior experience in sustainability and social impact areas such as climate change, workforce development, or other mission-driven initiatives.
- A service-oriented mindset, dedicated to being responsive and supportive to portfolio needs, with a strong focus on achieving meaningful outcomes for non-profit partners.
- Motivated, collaborative team player, eager to learn and improve continuously.
- Familiarity with data management tools such as Fluxx, Airtable, HubSpot, and Microsoft Excel.
