About CIRThe Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) is an independent, non-profit social enterprise dedicated to identifying, countering and exposing influence operations. Our mission is to raise awareness of the threat to democracy and objective truth from influence operations, including disinformation, and help to counter it.CIR currently fulfils its mission through three strands – programmes and research, the Media Hub and our Resilience Network. We are a collaborative initiative with global ambitions: we aim to work with partners including civil society, the media, grassroots organisations, academia and democratic governments to coordinate activities.Whilst CIR’s working language is English, our staff are based across Europe and other countries reflecting the diversity of our workforce and our commitment to international collaboration.Role details:Contract Type: ContractorContract length: ASAP until end of February 2025Hours needed for this role: Part-time – 10 working weekdays per month until the end of FebruaryLocation: London, United KingdomClosing date for this role: Sunday 1st September 2024 at 23:55pmRole’s responsibilitiesAs a Project Coordinator, you will be assisting, alongside the Project Director and Manager, in the administrative management of the project helping to meet deadlines, increase efficiencies, and ensure donor compliance.Project Coordination (70%)

  • Assist the project manager in the development of project management documents, such as budgets, schedules, and project plans.
  • Manage the project’s group calendar and develop procedures to organize team meetings and movements.
  • Help the project director and project manager to monitor project progress and team members’ performance and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Generate spending reports and budget forecasts.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to help project team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables.
  • Manage the project’s online storage system and communication channels.

General Administrative Support (20%)

  • Track project members’ timesheets, expenses, and recharge rate across the organization.
  • Assist in planning travel, including flight bookings, hotel reservations, and train ticket purchases.
  • Work with team members to ensure timely and correct submission of timesheets on a monthly basis.

Liaison and Events (10%)

  • Assist CIR staff during team trips, including managing relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Serve as point of contact for the project to all suppliers and vendors.
  • Help manage with set up of workshops, conferences, and other related events.
  • Offer organizational support for skills-sharing workshops for NGO partners and project participants.

RequirementsRequired qualifications and skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in project planning and management and working with development partners, government agencies, including experience engaging and managing consultants and managing small budgets.
  • Experience in working with multi-stakeholders
  • Experience planning workshops and events, organizing logistics
  • Knowledge/experience of travel bookings and organization. and shipment
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Fluency of English language is required.
  • Can work independently as a self-starter

Educational Qualifications:Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in international relations, Intelligence studies, Computer Science or related discipline.Working Arrangements:The role can either be office based, hybrid or remote, with the opportunity to work from CIR’s offices in London, if desired (subject to the applicant having the right to work in the UK).Recruitment ProcessTo apply, please submit a CV in your application.
