The tropical peatlands and their flora have been a focus of Kew researchers for over ten years, with a well-established professional network in the Amazon basin and more recently in the Congo basin delivering peat distribution maps, ecology, management, and climate mitigation. (PDF, 120.87kb)More detailsWe are seeking a part-time project manager with experience of working with UK government initiative funded projects, to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial management and reporting and delivering projects in developing countries. If you have experience in project management gained in a research setting, ability to work independently, proficiency in Spanish or French and enjoy collaborating with global research partners, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact.Interviews are planned for early December, ideally in person but online is also possible.This role is based at Kew with the option of regular home working, subject to operational requirements.The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (RBG Kew) is a leading plant science institute, UNESCO World Heritage Site, and major visitor attraction.
