Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field .
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management within NGOs or international organizations.
- Proven experience managing multi-location, multi-partner projects.
- Strong background in peacebuilding, governance, livelihoods, or community development.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of:
- Social cohesion and conflict-sensitive programming
- Participatory governance and community engagement
- Project cycle management (PCM)
- Experience with donor-funded projects (KFW, BMZ , GIZ, etc.).
Core Competencies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities
- Advanced reporting and documentation skills
- High level of organization and problem-solving
Languages & Tools
- Fluency in Arabic (required)
- Strong English writing and communication skills (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools
Other Requirements
- Based in Iraq with ability to travel frequently
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operations
- High integrity and commitment to safeguarding principles
- Strict adherence to zero-tolerance policies on SEA
