Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field .
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in project management within NGOs or international organizations.
  • Proven experience managing multi-location, multi-partner projects.
  • Strong background in peacebuilding, governance, livelihoods, or community development.

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Social cohesion and conflict-sensitive programming
    • Participatory governance and community engagement
    • Project cycle management (PCM)
  • Experience with donor-funded projects (KFW, BMZ , GIZ, etc.).

Core Competencies

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities
  • Advanced reporting and documentation skills
  • High level of organization and problem-solving

Languages & Tools

  • Fluency in Arabic (required)
  • Strong English writing and communication skills (required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools

Other Requirements

  • Based in Iraq with ability to travel frequently
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage complex operations
  • High integrity and commitment to safeguarding principles
  • Strict adherence to zero-tolerance policies on SEA
