Inis Environmental Ltd part of the RSK Group is hiring for a Project Scheduler/Assistant Ecologist to work from our Ennis based Office in Ireland.

Whether it be wind farm, solar farm or small hydro scheme, we are able to ensure that your energy can proceed through each phase of development, satisfying both the interests of stakeholders AND the bigger ecological picture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating, updating, and coordinating project and employee schedules
  • Participate in a cross functional team environment in development and oversight of Ecological related project schedules
  • Schedule all ecology employees, both junior and senior
  • Consulting with project managers to set up tasks and subtasks.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective scheduling management system.
  • Coordinating project timelines and Updating Jira system where appropriate.
  • Monitoring project timelines and deadlines.
  • Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner
  • Assist in the review of the schedule and status of the plans during all phases of the projects
  • Undertaking a broad range of breeding and wintering bird surveys, including species specific surveys (for waders, raptors and waterfowl) as well as general surveys (including vantage point and transect surveys); according to Best Practice Guidance, within time scales outlined;
  • Thoroughly reviewing (including peer-review) of data and mapping produced within the Inis Ecology Team;

Person Specification:

  • Oragnised and motivated individal
  • Good technical and communication skills
  • Ideally has worked on Ecology related projects/ project schedules
  • Passion for Ecology and developing a career in the Ecology field
  • The role will be 50% project scheduling and 50% field based work.
