The department head office is based at Quorn House, near Loughborough, however we can offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and we offer a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team and under own initiative working remotely.We’re working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityIn the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:
- Overseeing day to day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property
- Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents to achieve the best possible return
- Optimising rental income generated by Tarmac’s land portfolio
Budgeting, forecasting and approving property related costs including rents and maintenance costs * Instructing and managing external consultants and agentsThe Ideal CandidateTo be successful in the role of Property Estates Surveyor you will have proven knowledge and experience of:Industrial and commercial property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislationIndustrial and commercial property market agency in the UKNegotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals and general estate management mattersMineral and energy related property experience is of interest, but not essentialWhy UsIn addition to the role of Property Estates Surveyor we also offer an extensive range of career development opportunities and industry-leading rewards, incentives and benefits including:
