Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-03 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 12 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 13 grade step 10 in the broadband.

Duties

  • Provide advisory services to senior official for the protocol program and public communications functions.
  • Serve as a consultant for briefings, conferences, and social functions involving high-ranking officials of the United States Government and foreign nations’ governments.
  • Develop comprehensive Command wide guidance, direction, and policies, for the protocol program.
  • Monitor the status of work assignments, making adjustments in accordance with established suspense’s.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as the following duties:1) Analyzing concepts, principles, OR techniques to establish a program; 2) Developing procedural guidance for an assigned project/program.3) Communicating project or program requirements to all levels, internally and/or externally. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-02 or GS-11 equivalent.
