Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)~ SIGN-ON BONUS ~ NO WEEKENDS ~~ HRSA-APPROVED SITE & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE ~Welcome to David Lawrence Centers for Behavioral Health (DLC), where we provide life-saving and life-changing behavioral health care through the help of the industry’s most skilled professionals.Headquartered in Naples, Florida, DLC is a respected leader in the behavioral health field, providing comprehensive and innovative mental health and substance use treatment services.Celebrating over 50 years of service to the region, DLC is a not-for-profit organization, overseen by a volunteer board of community leaders, and is accredited by The Joint Commission.Serving adults, children and families, DLC provided more than 315,000 prevention, intervention and treatment services in the last year.PSYCH APRN – HYBRID: Medical Services & Detox Program [Position # 1160]Our Medical Services Program is an Outpatient setting providing Mental Health, Substance Use Disorder, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services.This unique role will also provide treatment and oversight to Clients on the Detox unit requiring withdrawal management, mental health services and/or MAT.Working closely with Therapists, Clinicians, Nurses, Support Staff, and local community partners to design custom Treatment Plans for those in need, we are looking to select a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who thrives supporting adults with mental health, substance use, and and co-occurring disorders.POSITION DETAILS:– Providing Psychiatric Evaluations, Addiction Medicine Evaluations, Medication Assisted Treatment, and Medication Management care.– Carrying a focused caseload of adult clients.– Following DLC Medication Assisted Treatment evidence-based practices– Supporting MAT initiatives for timely assessments, treatment, and warm hand-offs to facilitate induction and maintenance protocols.– Serving as back up to other agency inpatient and outpatient APRN staffing needs depending on census and caseloads in primary assigned areas (Adult Crisis Unit, Detox and Crossroads physical examinations, etc.).– Participating in monthly group APRN supervision under direction of protocol psychiatrists.– Participating in clinical staffing meetings for high risk or complex treatment planning to address coordination of services within DLC and with external providers and agencies.– Maintaining DLC Productivity standards.– Interacting with Clients’ families as part of total Treatment Plan.– Utilizing a variety of direct clinical skills in assessment, treatment, and intervention services within Behavioral Healthcare (Substance Use as well as Mental Health).– Intuitively managing all administrative and clinical caseload responsibilities.– Accepting supervision and guidance from Psychiatrists and participating as part of a multi-disciplinary team; Participating in morning team reports, treatment team meetings, family meetings and provider sessions.– Addressing all client/family concerns in a professional and compassionate way.– Other duties as assigned by Program Directors.REQUIREMENTS:– Master’s Degree in Psychiatric or Mental Health Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university or a Master’s Degree in Nursing and certification in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing = Required– Currently Board Certified as a FL Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) = Required– NPI = Required– 1-2 years of Mental Health/Detox/MAT experience = Strongly Preferred– Bilingual (Spanish) = Preferred But Not Required– Knowledge of overall objectives, treatment concepts and regulations pertaining to the care and treatment of the mentally ill and/or individuals with substance use disorder issues = Required– Current/Clear FL Driver’s License & Ability To Travel Within Collier County = Required– Ability to relate to and communicate with a diverse group of Clients, colleagues, agencies and community members = Required– Exceptional skills in organization (time and information), task prioritization and independent problem solving = Required– Dedication to the organization’s mission, standards, procedures and protocol = Required– Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Microsoft Office 365/Teams = Required– Staying compliant on all trainings and immunizations = Required– Ability to pass a Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, Drug Screen and Local Criminal Check = RequiredLOGISTICS & COMPENSATION:– Full-Time Salaried/Exempt position; On-Site
