Job descriptionAre you a recent graduate looking to pursue a career in education? Are you looking to gain experience in a secondary school prior to applying for a PGCE or SCITT? Enjoy earning between £1300 and £1800 per month whilst gaining appropriate experience in our academies and schools?Prospero Teaching are seeking to recruit graduate Instructors, cover supervisors and unqualified aspiring teachers to work in secondary schools and academies across Leeds in various roles.Roles can also include classroom teaching assistants, specialist SEN support assistants and pupil tutoring. Our support is there to help provide you with the amount of responsibility you wish to take on as you develop through the academic year.These roles have been used to gain experience before the eventual development into taking full classes independently, if this is something you wish to do.We have 39 Graduates that have gone on to apply for Teacher Training in West Yorkshire alone, following the 20/21 academic year.The ideal graduate would have:
- Aspirations to become a secondary teacher in their chosen field
- A passion for working with education and improving students’ outcomes
- Degree educated or a minimum of 3 Month’s experience working with secondary aged or 16+y/o students
- An interest in gaining an insight across secondary schools and academies in Leeds
