Overview

To engage a qualified institutional consultancy firm to conduct a comprehensive Public Expenditure Review (PER) of Botswana’s social protection (assistance) system. The assignment will generate evidence to support Government-led reforms that improve expenditure efficiency, targeting, coverage, adequacy, equity, delivery-system integration and fiscal sustainability, while strengthening the transition from fragmented welfare support to a Sustainable Livelihood Approach that links social protection to skills, employment, entrepreneurship, productive assets, market access and resilience for vulnerable households.
