Get in touch with us to discuss in more detail.Public Relations ManagerLondon – Hybrid (minimum 50% office based)We have an exciting opportunity in this brand new role, to join our growing business as a Group Public Relations Manager, to develop and deliver public relations activities in support of all areas of our Groups activities.Reporting to the Head of Media and Public Relations, you will use your understanding of the Group’s and various business unit’s strategic objectives to create, manage and deliver media and PR campaigns and content across a number of channels, with a focus on digital PRKey Responsibilities:Liaise and collaborate with stakeholders to develop PR and media relations campaigns and content to support the Group and business.Work with the Head of Media and PR, our external agency and internal colleagues to deliver innovative campaigns and content that achieve cut-through and maximise presence.Contribute creatively and intelligently to campaign generation and development.Ensure PR and media materials and content are technically accurate, on-brand and supportive of commercial and marketing strategies.Manage the online aspects of PR and media relations campaign, in collaboration with other digital teams around the business.Manage the design and production of campaign materials where required, working to timetables and budget.Assess, anticipate and create appropriate measures for crisis planning, business changes and any business issues.Support the Head of Media and PR on reputational management issues – both offensive and defensive work – taking responsibility for discrete projects where agreed.Monitor the external news and social environment to identify opportunities and potential challenges.Skills and Experience:Degree/HND/BTEC or equivalent experience – digital PR experience preferredExperience working as a PR manager (or similar) experience in a financial services or regulated industry (highly desirable but not essential)Experience either In-house, agency, digital publishing or journalismExperience of working with external PR and communication agencies.Proven experience of campaign development, across multiple channels, including developing and driving digital PR campaigns, including D2C.Experience of media-relations, proactive and reactive and of crisis management.Proven experience in the ability to turn corporate and commercial strategies into successful media and PR campaigns.Proven digital PR experience, able to measure impacts, assess data and refine campaignsOutstanding communication skills – able to listen, question and decode complex topics as well as exceptional writing skillsIs a logical thinker – follows situations and ideas through from start to variable finishes, encompassing ‘what ifs’.Company BenefitsA Competitive Salary, Pension Scheme and Life AssuranceAlong with 25 Days Annual Leave plus an Additional Day on us for your BirthdayPrivate Medical Cover and Income Protection, just in caseA generous and highly achievable bonus scheme – paid annually based on individual and company performance against targetsOpportunity to progress within your career both in-role and within the companyFREE access to the Headspace App, a 24/7 Employee Assistance Helpline and Trained Physical & Mental Health First Aiders (On-Site)A variety of Employee Funded Benefits available to you via our Online Benefits PortalPlus, several additional purchase options available for you and your loved onesAbout UsWe’re a FTSE 250 Financial Services company who specialise in retirement solutions and right now, our world is moving pretty quickly.How people work, save, and plan for the future is all changing.
