Job description
The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for maintaining the company’s purchase ledger to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial and administrative operations. This role also entails developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures, and policies to achieve these objectives.
The successful purchase ledger clerk will be:
- Manage and maintain the company’s purchase ledger
- Processing high volume purchase invoices
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliation
- High volume customer queries.
Immediate Start!|3-4 month contract
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
- A strong educational background in Accounting & Finance
- Be available to start immediately
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent numerical skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
