Job description
An exciting opportunity exists for a Quality Engineer to join a dynamic team in Stockport. The role involves providing crucial Quality support to Manufacturing, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer expectations. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Suitable for:
This role is ideal for an experienced Quality professional with a background in Engineering. The perfect candidate will have proven experience with 8D disciplines, PFMEAs, DFMEAs, APQP, and PPAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance processes to enhance product and process quality.
- Devise and review specifications to meet customer expectations.
- Drive continuous improvement using various techniques, maximizing assembly opportunities.
- Carrying out internal and external system and process audits in compliance with ISO 9001.
- Manage non-conformances through effective root cause analysis, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Occasional travel to European sites as part of group collaboration.
Location: Stockport
Permanent: Full Time, 0800-1630 (Mon-Thurs), 0800-1300 (Fri)
Salary: £35k – £45k (dependent on experience)
Benefits: 7% Pension Contributions, 4% from candidate, 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
