Title: Quality EngineerJob Responsibilities: The overall responsibility is to ensure all documentation required for quality inspections is in-house. Below is a list of daily activities:
- Mechanical and visual inspection of assemblies accurately by the utilization of inspection equipment such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, scales, profilometer or other measurement instruments as required and according to work instructions.
- Reviewing engineering drawings to create inspection reports.
- Maintain RMA (Customer Returns) log by assigning RMA numbers, managing customer returns through the process, and providing reports to the customer.
- Maintain Vendor Return log by managing vendor returns through the process.
- Perform final inspection on completed assemblies before shipping to the customer.
- Prepare inspection documentation for customer First Piece Inspections.
- Review customer Purchase Orders to understand quality requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
- Ability to correctly use measurement instruments
- GD&T experience
- Experience in the inspection of machined parts
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and planning skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience with ISO9001:2015 quality standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic quality/machine problems
- 5 whys, 8 D or Root Cause Analysis experience
- Technical college graduate with 5 + years’ experience as QC inspector
- Experience with machined components
- Able to create basic quality procedures

Expected salary
$80000 – 105000 per year
