Job DescriptionTQR are excited to be working closely with one of Plymouth’s top software businesses, and have an opportunity available for a Quality Tester. If you are looking for a role that you can really make the most of, and you want an opportunity to join a great business, we want to hear from you.A few things that would help you to make an impact in your new role would be a keen attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and confidence in communicating with people both in and outside of the business. You will be given all the tools and support to be able to settle into your new role and to hit the ground running.Some of the main duties of this role will include:

  • To methodically test software produced in-house, using a range of testing methods.
  • Complete specific testing at the QA Manager’s request for both software and hardware.
  • To report any issues found within the software using the internal ticketing system.
  • To liaise with other internal teams to produce ideas about what features could be improved.
  • To help develop and maintain the internal auto-testing system.
  • To complete a weekly report of your activities.
  • To attend meetings with other teams from the company and contribute your thoughts and ideas about the software.
  • To have a flexible attitude to tasks that need completing in the office, such as administrative work.

  • An interest in IT/Programming would be desirable
  • Any experience with MAC, Windows, Adobe Illustrator/Corel Draw would be desirable but not essential
