Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist and provide technical support to the Color Team in the functional areas of CGB Lab, PSG Lab, PSG Data, CBG Data, and/or Factory Support.
  • Serve as a technical liaison to internal partners in the Organization and may work with external vendors
  • Provide technical support to the Colorant Team and work with Brands group leader and CBG Data Business Analyst to determine resources and timelines for Color projects
  • Lead multiple projects with limited scope
  • May work with Group Leaders and CBG Data Business Analyst to determine resources and timelines for Color projects.
  • Support team members to complete continuous improvement projects that contribute to the teams CI goal.
  • Through the CI program, implement tools and process to support the strategy of the Color department.
  • Supports projects with limited cross functional/departmental teams and communicates to stakeholders on project plans, updates, and timelines
  • May interact with immediate team and other outside departments including external vendors
  • May coach, mentor and and/or train others
  • Communicate any barriers/concerns that could potentially impact project quality and/or timelines along with proposed resolutions.
  • Collaborate across our color team to help deliver on established project timelines and attain overall group goals by assisting in the lab, helping to perform data analysis, or any other critical resource needs.
  • Use knowledge and expertise in Color systems, tools and processes, to educate customers/partners and leverage processes across the various technical labs.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Business or related field

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate both up and down, as well as with peers and management team.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • 1-2 years of project leadership/management experience

Preferred:

  • Color program management experience
  • Color software programs experience
  • Experience managing Continuous Improvement projects

TRAVEL:

10%

Upon completion of construction, the individual selected for this role will primarily work at the new Sherwin-Williams Global Technology Center in Brecksville, Ohio. Construction is expected to be complete in Q4 2024. Until then, the role will be based at Breen Technology Center, located at 601 Canal Road, Cleveland, OH 44113.
