Knowledge of appraisal methodology and structure is a key attribute along with general knowledge of the environmental ASTM standards. This position will monitor the front-end of our workflow and the candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to respond to initial requests, adding files to our workflow while monitoring 3rd party vendor qualifications. Having the ability to multi-task and work on several files at once is key to success in this role while maintaining defined department SLAs. This position is located in Rosemont. Hours are Monday – Friday from 8:30am – 5pm CST. This position is currently hybrid, with 3 days in the office; 2 days WFH.What you will be doing:Managing the department email inbox containing all new requests, email correspondence and general inquiries with our lending partners and 3rd party service providers.Soliciting 3rd party fee and timing quotes for a variety of due diligence reports and learning to understand each firm’s specialty services and coverage areas.Working directly with WRES team members to collaborate on projects and vendor selections.Documenting formal engagement letters, monitoring and maintaining 3rd party vendor credentials and qualifications.Continuing education and compliance testing.Qualifications:3-5 years of CRE related experience is preferred with general working knowledge about CRE appraisal and environmental reporting. Knowledge of FIRREA, USPAP and ASTM standards and regulatory parameters are a plus.Working knowledge and experience with CRE lending and due diligence reporting. strongly preferred.Associate’s degree or equivalent#LI-HYBRIDFrom our first day in business, Wintrust has been proud to serve a variety of unique communities and people from all walks of life.
